Week 10

While the Bearcats and Panthers are on track to make the playoffs, other Central Pennsylvania teams may be vying for a playoff spot, but they may not be playing each other in the first round. In the Federal League, Lake beat Green and will earn the league title. In the York-Adams Division III, Delone Catholic is the York-Adams Division III champ. In the MaxPreps Computer Rankings, Delone is ranked fifth in Class III.
Other notable games included Canton South’s win over Fairless in the PAC-7, GlenOak’s win over Perry, and York Catholic’s victory over Stratford.
Week 11
During Week 11, high school football scores from across the state will be tracked. The Jacksonville Times-Union will track scores from 20 Week 11 games in Southeast Georgia, Northeast Florida, and the Florida High School Athletic Association. In addition, the Courier Journal will cover all area games and provide postgame action. It also offers a digital subscription to a high school sports newsletter.
Week 11 of the UIL high school football season started Friday in Texas. Teams across the state played regional round games. The winner will advance to the quarterfinals. Houston could win the region title if Bartlett loses. Melrose won the region title on Thursday.
The Florida High School Athletic Association will also have playoffs this week. In Southeast Florida, Braden River and Port Charlotte are both for the district title. Port Charlotte will play in the Class 3S-Region 4 automatic playoff berth. The Manatee and Southeast rivalry is the largest in county history. The teams finalize their resumes before the FHSAA playoff bracket show Sunday.
